Marion senior Christopher Partain recently earned a position in the prestigious National Honor Band of America, sponsored by Music for All.
Partain will perform with some of the top student musicians in the United Stated March 12-15 in Indianapolis.
The Music for All National Honor Band was created in 1992. The band will be directed by renowned conductor, Dr. Rodney Dorsey, who serves as the director of bands at Florida State University.
Partain becomes only the second student in the history of the Marion band program to earn this great honor, with 2024 graduate and Ole Miss freshman Miller Owen being the first.
Christopher is a two-time Arkansas All State percussionist.
