Marion volleyball will enter the 2026 season as defending Class 5A state champions, and the Patriots will play a competitive schedule once again this fall.
Lisa Beasley's latest club opens its defense of its 5A East and state championships on August 20 at home for the senior high jamboree.
Things get underway for real on Monday, August 24, when the Patriots continue their non-conference series with Collierville for the home opener. Marion beat Collierville for the first time in program history last September. The Pats are back at it the next night with a trip to Class 4A power Westside.
Arguably, the top rivalry in the state resumes on Thursday, August 27, when the Valley View Blazers visit Marion for the first of two meetings this fall. Marion returns its trip to Valley View on September 28.
The Patriots cap a busy opening week with a run at the 2026 River City Classic in Bartlett, Tennessee, an event where Marion suffered one of its two losses a season ago to finish as the tournament's runner-up.
Marion opens September with a conference road trip to Crittenden County neighbor West Memphis on September 1, and Greene County Tech comes calling on September 3. The Patriots host West Memphis on September 29, while the trip to Tech is slated for October 1.
The Pats welcome Nettleton for action on September 8, and Marion picks up a non-conference tilt on September 10 at Arlington, Tennessee. Marion returns to Nettleton on October 6.
Marion hosts Brookland for a non-conference contest on September 14 before traveling to play new league opponent Beebe the following day. Beebe visits Marion on October 13.
The Pats cap a three-game week on September 17 with a trip to Batesville, and the Pioneers return to Marion on October 15.
Paragould visits Marion on September 22, with the return visit to the Rams slated for October 20.
Marion hits the road on September 24 to play Searcy, while the Lions visit Marion on October 22 in the conference and regular-season finale.
The Class 5A state volleyball tournament will be played October 26-28 at Farmington High School, with the Class 5A state final slated for October 31 at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs.
