It's almost time! MHS Seniors shifted gears this week and are in full throttle towards graduation day! Invitations! Caps and gowns! Final exams! It's the final countdown!


Congratulations to all MHS National Honor Society (NHS) members. The NHS Annual Induction and Senior Recognition Ceremony for the L.P. Mann Chapter of the National Honor Society took place last week. 42 new members were inducted and 72 graduating seniors were celebrated.







Ms. Whitney Taylor's A&P students completed a two day fetal pig dissection. They had to identify all of the major organs of the pig which are similar to those of a human. Almost all students were successful in identifying all organs and were able to help their peers.





It's Tour time!!
The career coaches are taking Juniors & Seniors on a college tour to UAPB on April 17, 2025 (Thursday). We will leave at 8:15 A.M & will return back to campus by 3:30 pm. Students that are attending are asked to be in the career coaches office at 8:00 A.M before departure.


It's time for ATLAS testing at MHS. Here are some important things you need to know in order to be prepared.

Happy School Librarian Day to MHS librarian Ms. Terri Sturghill! National School Librarian Day is observed annually on April 4 to recognize and celebrate the vital role of school librarians in supporting student learning and literacy.

Happy Pi Day! This day is celebrated annually on March 14th (3/14) by mathematicians, and scientists in honor of the mathematical pi sign which is expressed by the decimals 3.14.


March 17th-28th is spring break. Have an awesome vacation, MHS! Classes will resume for students April 1st.


Got any formal dresses you no longer need? Donte them to MHS Student Council. STUCO is taking donations from March 10th - April 11th. Dresses count as 30 minutes of community service.

Last Saturday (March 1), 17 of our students from MHS competed in the ACTM Regional Math Competition at ASU-Midsouth. Students who earn 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place qualify for the state competition, which is held at UCA in April. Seven of our students are eligible to compete at state!
